Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens after I submit?

If your business appears to be a fit for what we are looking for, you’ll be invited to book a call with a member of our leadership team.

That conversation is about getting to know you, your business, and your goals — how you started, why you started, where the company stands today, and what you are looking for in the next chapter.

  • How long until I hear back?

You’ll know within minutes whether we’re interested in learning more. If there appears to be a fit, you’ll be given the opportunity to book a call with our team right away.

  • Do I need a warm introduction?

A warm introduction is helpful, but it is not required. If your business is a strong fit, a clear and thoughtful submission is enough for us to take a serious look.

  • What kind of businesses are a fit for Omnigate?

We look for durable, profitable businesses with clear customer demand, strong fundamentals, and room to grow. We are especially interested in companies with recurring or sticky customer relationships, a capable leadership team, and an owner who is looking for more than just capital.

The ideal fit is a founder who has built something real, knows the business deeply, and wants a serious long-term partner to help with capital, strategy, guidance, and the next stage of growth.

  • Should I send a pitch deck or financials?

Not at this stage. The form should give us enough context to decide whether an introductory conversation makes sense.

If there is a fit, we may ask for a simple financial snapshot, customer context, and other supporting materials after the first call.

  • Do I need to sign an NDA before sharing details?

Not for the initial submission. Please only share information you would be comfortable discussing in a first conversation.

If we move toward diligence, we can put the right confidentiality protections in place before sensitive documents are exchanged.

  • What if my business is smaller than your usual target?

You should still submit if your business has strong fundamentals and is close to the type of company we look for. Today, we are primarily focused on platform opportunities — businesses with the scale, team, and market position to support meaningful growth.

That said, we also want to hear from smaller businesses with durable customer relationships, strong margins, or a clear path to becoming part of a larger platform.

Even if the timing is not right today, starting the conversation now helps us understand your business and stay connected as it grows.

  • Is my submission confidential?

Yes. Submissions are reviewed only by the Omnigate team. We do not share your information with outside parties, contact your customers, or approach employees without your permission.

  • Can I email you instead?

We strongly recommend submitting through the form. It is the fastest and most reliable way to make sure your business is reviewed by the right person on our team.

You can email us, but email submissions may not be reviewed or answered as quickly. If you want us to properly evaluate the opportunity, the form is the best place to start.

  • What makes a strong submission?

The strongest submissions come from founders who take the questionnaire seriously and answer honestly. There are no wrong answers. We are not looking for the most polished pitch — we are looking for the right businesses and the right founders.

Be clear about what your company does, who it serves, how the business makes money, where things stand today, and what you want the next chapter to look like.

The more direct and thoughtful you are, the easier it is for us to understand whether there may be a fit.
